My Story
I have always felt that there was something beneath the surface of life that I could sense, even when I didn’t have the language to explain it.
Since childhood, I’ve had a deep connection with God. At the same time, I often felt different—like I was standing slightly outside of the world around me, observing and feeling things more deeply than I knew how to express. For a long time, I didn’t understand why.
That changed dramatically when I was 15.
I experienced an unexpected Kundalini awakening that completely altered the way I perceived myself and the world around me. It wasn’t the peaceful, “love and light” experience that spiritual awakenings are sometimes made out to be. For me, it was intense, disorienting, and overwhelming. I often describe it as being pushed into deep water without ever being taught how to swim.
During that time, I began seeing auras, sensing energy, receiving intuitive information, and experiencing what I would later come to understand as psychic and mediumistic abilities. I was young, without guidance, and trying to make sense of experiences that felt much bigger than me.
Eventually, it became too much, and I stepped away from that part of myself.
For years, my life moved in a very different direction. I studied healthcare management and later worked in healthcare, case management, community support, and social-service-based environments. I spent much of that time helping people navigate difficult circumstances while also moving through profound experiences of my own.
My life has included trauma, illness, heartbreak, loss, periods of deep emotional pain, healing, reinvention, and more than one moment where I had to completely rediscover who I was.
Art became one of the ways I survived those chapters.
Before I understood what my spiritual work would become, I was already expressing what I felt through poetry, songwriting, music production, painting, and other forms of creativity. Art gave a shape to things I couldn’t always explain with ordinary language. It allowed me to take something invisible—an emotion, an experience, an inner world—and make it visible.
In many ways, that is still what I do today.
As I slowly returned to my intuitive abilities, I first came back through aura reading. Seeing and feeling someone’s energetic field felt familiar, almost like remembering a language I had once known and then forgotten.
But the more I worked with people, the more I realized that the aura was often only the beginning.
Sometimes I would perceive something that seemed to reach beyond a person’s current emotions or circumstances. I began receiving symbolic images, spiritual archetypes, protective presences, unusual visual impressions, and an inner knowing about what felt like a deeper layer of the person in front of me.
As these experiences continued, I began to understand the role that psychic channeling and mediumship played in my work. Not everything I perceived came through colors or energy alone. Sometimes impressions arrived through visions, sensations, emotions, symbols, or what I experienced as a spiritual presence. Other times, it was simply a knowing that I couldn't immediately explain.
Over time, my work naturally developed into what I now call soul readings.
With greater experience came a deeper understanding of the importance of discernment. I no longer feel the need to interpret every impression immediately or force meaning onto something I don't fully understand. My faith in God continues to ground me as I learn to approach these experiences with greater awareness, patience, and responsibility.
When I read someone, I don’t enter the session trying to force a particular answer or experience. I allow the reading to unfold naturally. Sometimes that begins with the colors and qualities within the aura. Other times, an image, feeling, symbol, presence, or knowing arrives first.
I pay attention to what presents itself.
My soul readings explore what I perceive beneath the present-day personality—the deeper nature of the soul, the imagery surrounding it, and whatever impressions seem meaningful within that particular session. Some readings remain focused on the aura and a person's current energy, while others unfold into deeper themes, spiritual symbolism, personal patterns, or experiences that seem to extend beyond the immediate moment.
No two readings unfold the same way, because no two people carry the same inner world.
Alongside the reading itself, visual art has become an important part of my work. Through aura depictions and energy art, I translate some of what I perceive into something tangible. There is something powerful to me about allowing a person to not only hear what I sense, but to see a visual reflection of their energy as well.
That intersection between intuition and creativity feels like one of the most natural expressions of who I am.
My work today is quieter and deeper than it once was.
For a long time, I thought my purpose had to be about constantly teaching, guiding, posting, or explaining healing to other people. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized that I don’t always need to tell someone who they should become, what path they should take, or how they should understand themselves.
Sometimes the most meaningful thing I can offer is simply the experience of being seen.
Seen beyond the roles you play.
Beyond what you have survived.
Beyond the version of yourself that you have learned to present to the world.
At the heart of Idow Soul is that intention.
Through psychic channeling, soul readings, aura readings, and visual aura depictions, I create space to explore what exists beneath the surface—the colors, symbols, impressions, sensitivities, stories, and deeper qualities that make each person uniquely themselves.
My own path has been anything but linear. I ran from my abilities before eventually returning to them with more maturity, discernment, faith, and understanding. The experiences I once viewed as something I needed to escape eventually became part of the language through which I understand myself, my creativity, and the work I offer today.
I am still an artist. I am still deeply connected to God. I am still learning, evolving, and allowing my understanding of my own gifts to deepen.
But now, instead of running from what I perceive, I listen.
And through Idow Soul, I invite others to explore what may be waiting beneath the surface of themselves, too.
